Pieces will include fine art landscapes taken on a recent USA tour and autographical pieces that chronicle the past 10 years of David's life with his partner Vincent and that of their son. Also displayed will be David's "Elegies" series.

David Alexander hails from the County of Down, in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. He has travelled widely but has chosen to remain based in Down, in the historic town of Newtownards on the Ards Peninsula.
With a strong background in local history, Victoriana, and information technologies, photography has over the years increasingly become a fascination.

Insightful landscapes and cityscapes are his first love, however experimenting with long exposure projects, creative avant-garde portraiture and specializing in low light social imagery, also provide an outlet for skills and vision.

David draws inspiration from photographic artists such as Annie Leibovitz, Joe Cornish & Denise Bovee, who have introduced him to aspects of a range of subject matter that have inspired him to experiment and produce a range of images reflecting David’s love of the uniqueness of people, animals, architecture and the natural environment.
